Major Update

I haven’t posted here in almost two weeks, so here’s an update for that time.


Monday, April 7th:
Thirty minutes on the StairMaster (if I recollect correctly).

Tuesday, April 8th:
Forty minutes on the StairMaster.

Wednesday, April 9th:
Only thirteen minutes on the StairMaster since we got some Astros tickets at the last minute and I had to get ready to go.

Thursday, April 10th:
I was quite proud of myself on this day because I did an hour and ten minutes on the StairMaster at pretty high levels too.

Saturday, April 11th:
Twenty minutes on the StairMaster before eating anything, effectively doubling my time.

Sunday, April 12th:
Twenty minutes on the StairMaster before eating anything, effectively doubling my time.

Monday, April 12th:
Either twenty or forty minutes on the StairMaster. I can’t remember.

Tuesday, April 13th:
Forty minutes on the StairMaster.

Wednesday, April 14th:
Twenty minutes at a pretty good clip on the StairMaster.

Thursday, April 15th:
Fell asleep when I got home and didn’t feel like exercising when I woke up, so I didn’t.


On other fronts, the water drinking and the eating decent lunches are pretty much out of the window. I’m having a crappy time at work and feeling a lot of pressure from other sources in my life and I’m doing something I haven’t done in probably six or seven years - comfort eating. I’m hoping I can begin to get some thing under control and not do this. Wish me lots of luck.

Sunday Workout

I only got to work out Sunday this weekend since Saturday was spent at the Houston Arcade Group Expo, but I did do a full twenty minutes after getting up on Sunday. One day is better than no days, I suppose.

Half Hour

I was able to make it through a half hour on the StairMaster at a pretty moderate speed. Not as good as forty minutes, but not bad for someone who hasn’t worked out a lot in a month or so.

Another Dollar

Chalk up another dollar for me. So far, every day this week, I’ve had five glasses (more than eight ounces in it) of water at work. Maybe I’m finally back on track with this for good!

Another Day....

As the saying goes, today I made another dollar by drinking all my water. It’s too early to see any kind of weight loss, obviously, but I am having to pee like fifteen times a day. Let’s hope it flushes the system and gets me thinner!

Back to the Grind

I was able to fight off being tired and StairMaster for twenty minutes, but it was tough after not being on for so long. Time to get back into this routine for good.

Water Water Everywhere

I’ve decided there is no reason to not drink my water, so I’ve come up with a little system to help me remember what glass number I’m on and talked Steven into giving me $1.00 for every day that I drink the 68 ounces of water that I’m supposed to.

Here’s to making $1.00 today since I had all my water!

Thirty Minutes

I managed to make it through thirty minutes yesterday on the StairMaster (forgot to post them- whoops!), but that was it. I figured since I haven’t worked out much lately, it’s good to start out slow.

I also got my CD from Trish and it looks like another excellent mix. I’m so loving this CD exchange!
